The Christopher Center:
Our Specialized Memory Care Community
The Christopher Center is a welcoming memory care community featuring a nurse’s station, sunroom, family-style dining room, and activity room. Resident apartments (pictured below) are specially designed for those with memory loss. All indoor spaces are designed to allow for lots of natural sunlight, and a secure courtyard means that residents can safely enjoy the outdoors whenever they like.
Memory Care Apartments
Welcoming, comfortable, safe. The private and semi-private apartments at Valley are designed with our residents in mind. Memory boxes just outside each apartment door help provide familiarity and improve recognition by showcasing a resident’s personal photos and mementos. Inside, a simple design, calming colors, and special features offer an environment that is safe for those with Alzheimer’s or other dementia.

Memory Care Programming
Our memory care program is thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of residents with memory loss due to Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
A secure environment, careful selection of caregivers, and a resident-focused approach are hallmarks of our program. Daily routines incorporate therapeutic activities such as reminiscence programs, music and art experiences, pet therapy, and sensory-based activities, which help to enhance engagement.
We work closely with loved ones to ensure residents receive consistent, individualized care while fostering family relationships that bring comfort and peace of mind.
