We are seeking a seasoned professional for our Director of Admissions and Marketing to maintain maximum occupancy in our Assisted Living & Memory Care community.  From discovery through inquiry calls and visits, to solution-finding and relationship-building during tours, you will work with seniors and their families to help them discover why our community is the perfect home for their needs.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, strong attention to detail, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for improving the lives of older adults.

This is an incentive-based position which may include bonuses or commission plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and maintain maximum occupancy by implementing effective marketing, sales, admissions, resident relations, and community outreach programs.
  • Conduct presentation tours to prospective patients and their families.
  • Manage the patient application and admissions process in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with department managers (and families as appropriate) each patient admission.
  • Ensure community is presentable for tours at all times, and all staff are trained in proper customer service to consistently uphold our mission in all interactions.
  • Utilize and maintain accurate record-keeping for contacts, leads, referrals, and activities in database.  Produce and submit reports to the Home Office as required and scheduled.
  • Rotate as “Manager on Duty” with department supervisors.
  • Complete in-service staff training and seminars to ensure requirements are met.
  • Other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Three years demonstrated experience in driving sales and achieving results (previous senior living or medical industry experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication, resident relations, organizational skills, and leadership ability.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology as well as Medicare, Medicaid, private and long-term care insurances preferred.
