While location, fun activities, and affordable services matter, quality care is always the pivotal factor when choosing an assisted living community. You want assurance that you will be treated with respect and dignity. And your family wants peace of mind knowing that you will be cared for with compassion and competence.
At Our Lady of the Valley, the well-being of each resident is the hallmark of everything we do. Our team of caring professionals is dedicated to understanding the individual needs and desires of each resident. We offer personalized assisted living services, nursing care, and skilled rehabilitation in the Sullivan Center. Our services are customized to promote independence and to foster trust and personal fulfillment. With a registered or licensed nurse on-site 24 hours a day, every day, residents and their families have confidence knowing that assistance is always available.
Our approach to wellness and well-being at Our Lady of the Valley means providing care to our residents on an individual basis, matching services and assistance to each resident to meet his or her physical and emotional needs. This, along with strategically developed activities and programs - including outings, opportunities for socializing, nutritious meals, fitness classes, worship, and more - contributes to our philosophy of complete care. By meeting the needs of our residents on every level – physical, emotional, mental, vocational, social, and spiritual – we can enrich lives while providing the best possible care.
As a way of supporting the spiritual and emotional needs of our residents, we offer a unique resource in our on-site Pastoral Counselor, Dan Freeland. Dan provides non-denominational worship services and spiritual care for our residents, as well as family members and employees. In addition to leading group worship services, Bible studies, and prayer groups, he is also available to residents for private, one-on-one counseling sessions.
